If you’re having trouble understanding why Google Analytics isn’t functioning properly for you, take solace in knowing that you’re not the only one.
Google Analytics down from this morning, and several users have reported the issue. Down Detector has also reported the Downtime in Google Analytics.
However, Google introduced three new metrics to Analytics 4 this week only, and after that, it went numb.
Moreover, the users also reported some other Google services like AdSense and Google Ads going down too.
Okay, so it’s not my fault…this time. It appears to be only Google Analytics 4. Universal works. https://t.co/ixKyetRTLD— Larry Lowe (@larryloweco) July 15, 2022
Google analytics GA4 and Adsense are down— arthur (@ArthurChijindu) July 15, 2022
Google Analytics is currently having trouble displaying real-time data. It either shows incorrectly or fails to display any real-time data, meaning no way to measure site performance.
Although Google hasn’t clarified or updated any statements about it, I am certain that their engineers are working on it.
We will update this page with new information as it becomes available. So, if you’re experiencing the issue stated above, stay tuned for updates and subscribe to the bell notification on the left side.
UPDATE: Google AdMob is also apparently down. Meanwhile, Google Analytic has been down since 3 p.m. IST and is still not working as of now.
UPDATE 2: Google’s Ads Ginny Marvin, finally address the issue and posted about it on Twitter:
There's an ongoing issue affecting Google ads products and Google Analytics for a large number of accounts. We're working on addressing the issue. Please see the dashboard for updates: https://t.co/F19BfFAJ8F— AdsLiaison (@adsliaison) July 15, 2022
Additionally, Google confirmed and investigating the Google Ads issue saying, “affected users are able to access Google Ads, but may not have access to the most recent data.”
