Tesla is one of the biggest names in the technology industry, and Musk is very much interested in helping to make the world a better place. Musk has a long history of being an avid inventor and the inventor of many different inventions.
The latest rumors are to be believed. Musk might be exploring the lucrative world of smartphones with the production of a so-called “Tesla Phone” or “Tesla Model Pi”
Tesla Phone Specs and Hardware
As per previous rumors, it would have all the standard components, a 1 TB of storage, 16 GB of RAM, and an AMOLED display with a screen of around 6.5 inches.
We’ll learn more about the Tesla Phone as we go deeper into the details. We find out a new Chinese report claiming that the Tesla Model Pi will have a 4K resolution screen. It will also be equipped with a Snapdragon 898 processor and a 100MP back camera.
What are the features of the Tesla phone?
Tesla is known for its extravagant features, such as the Tesla Auto-pilot and the nearly indestructible body design of the Cybertruck. The Tesla phone rumors are kind of the same:-
Phone of Mars
The Tesla Pi phone is said to be built to work both on Earth and on Mars. It will use Starlink technology to connect both planets.

Camera
As previously stated, the camera will have a resolution of 100 megapixels, with the most notable feature being that the rear camera module will be invisible. It’s not evident how Tesla would hide the camera, but it can pull something like Concept One by OnePlus.
StarLink Internet
The Model Pi smartphone is reported to include an inbuilt technology that allows users to connect to Starlink and surf the web without relying on Earth-bound telecoms networks.
Starlink is a high-speed, low-latency broadband internet service provided by Mr. Musk’s other company, SpaceX, in various country. Thanks to low-orbit satellites, video conversations, internet games, and streaming are all possible.
It is well suited for locations where connectivity has been unreliable or altogether unavailable. Tesla wants to develop a satellite phone that can function in areas where standard WiFi or 5G connectivity is unavailable.
Solar charging
This isn’t a far-fetched thought because Tesla makes solar panels and EVs. Solar charging feature would allow the phone to work everywhere and under any circumstance, working even on Mars and connecting to Earthlings via Starlink.
Vehicle control
A Tesla app for phones already exists to conduct essential automotive duties such as locking and unlocking the vehicle, controlling media playing, and summoning the Tesla car.
The Tesla phone would almost certainly come with this software preinstalled. It will allow users to operate numerous vehicle functions such as locking, unlocking, heating, media, and other aspects with their phones.
Support Neuralink
Neuralink, a technology that allows people to control things with their thoughts, could be supported by Tesla’s upcoming phone.
In 2016, Mr. Musk co-founded the Neuralink Corporation, which focuses on implantable chips for the human brain. The microchip, once implanted, will allow computers to turn users’ thoughts into actions.

What operating system is used on the Tesla Pi phone?
It’s unclear whether the phone will run the Android operating system or a Tesla-developed operating system. On the other hand, partnering with Android OS makes more sense for Tesla than going with a new OS and spending a lot of money and time on R&D.
How Much is the Tesla Phone Price?
Assuming the device is still in development, it will most likely cost between $800 and $1200 if it only include the features offered on today’s smartphones.
