BGMI There was a problem parsing the package

Krafton has launched its Open Beta version before the official Battlegrounds Mobile India game. Unfortunately, the beta slots were available to a limited no of Beta tester only, so that is the reason you won’t find it on play store.

Some users were able to find the game’s APK and OBB files from Tap Tap. However, many of them are facing an error stating: “There was a problem parsing the package” when trying to install the game.

The possible reason for this BGMI package error is an Incompatibility issue with your Android version of the device. This error comes to those who are running Android version 9 and below. Thus, I have faced the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which runs on Android 9 Version.

At last, I have managed to run the game on Galaxy Note 8 as well as Galaxy On5 pro after so many failed attempts. Luckily, it also solved the “App not Installed” problem as well. I have simplified the solution for easy and clean install for the users.

How to Fix “App Not Installed” error

BGMI Total Space

1 Make sure you have 7GB of Space Left on your Smartphone for installation, as you can see in the images, the Total space taken by Battleground Mobile India is around 6GB after Downloading Maps and other resources.

2 Check your Android Version is 9 or below it. Otherwise, it might not help.

3 In the case of Android 10+ Download the app from TAP TAP here

How to Fix “There was a problem parsing the package” error

1 Download the BGMI APK and OBB file here (lower Android Version)

2. Then, Extract both the files.

3. Now place the “com.pubg.imobile” OBB file inside the Android then OBB folder

4. [Do not open the game after APK Installation] Now, Install the BGMI APK file, and as suggested, do not open it after installation instead close it.

5. Now go to the App permission of Battleground Mobile India and allow required permissions from storage to Microphone access.

6. That’s it, Now launch the game and play.

When you open up the game, it will start to download the required files (size – 618MB); wait patiently for the download to finish. Once this process is complete, You are now all set to log in to the game and start playing. You can also transfer your PUBG Mobile account to BGMI.

I hope that it will solve your issue, we are still looking for more ways to overcome these errors, and we will update on it as soon we find it. So till then, join our Facebook Page so I can update you all.
