PS5 launch on February 2, 2021 in India
The Rest of the World is busy playing and enjoying Gaming on the newly launched PS5 for almost three months. However, Sony in India is still struggling to make it available for all, even after the launch.
It has been reported that after the initial PS5 launch on February 2, 2021. Flipkart has canceled the Pre-orders of PS5 of the majority and refunded the money.
“I pre-ordered a PS5 on January 12 when pre-orders first went live. It was canceled without my consent a month later.” says Gurugram-based KS Jishnu.
As confirmed by IGN, Flipkart appears to have given PS5s allotted for pre-orders to those who purchased the console after its February 2 launch.
Flipkart has given Lightning fast delivery for a post-pre-order date order while people who booked on January 12 are getting canceled order notifications.
The possible reason for Flipkart’s decision could be due to the Stock issue. The PS5 restocks are only expected by March. It will be interesting to see how the second wave of orders are managed.
