Renault Kiger to launch on February in India
Much awaited Renault Kiger is finally here made specifically for the Indian market. Renault Kiger is a stylish, feature-rich compact SUV that has been designed and developed for India as per French carmaker.
The Renault Kiger comes with a lot of new features and various option but there is one big question remain unexplained:-
How safe is Renault Kiger?
Despite the fact Renault Kiger is based on the same CMF-A+ platform as recently launched Magnite it is not important that the build quality will be as good as Nissan Magnite.
The Recently launched Renault Tiber is an example of it. Renault Tiber is also made of CMF-A+ platform as recently launched Kiger is a derivative of the Renault-Nissan much protective platform for car manufacture. But despite that, a recent horrifying Renault Triber Accident shows the Whole car destroyed.
Another reason for that is Renault choose a lightweight structure. In the case of Triber which has a kerb weight of around 950 kilograms. If compare to Magnite which has a Kerb weight of 1040 kilogram while Renault Kiger weighs 1012 kg.
SAFETY RATING 3-Star (Assumption)
Renault KRIGER comes with 4-Air bags just like Renault TRIBER
So we believe that Renault Kiger Global NCAP rating will be close to 3-Starwhich is fairly good when comes to safety. It more than 1 year and we still have not received the Global NCAP rating for Renault Triber and don’t know how much time we have to wait for Renault Kiger Safety Rating.
Renault Kiger comes with four airbags- two in front and two sides airbag, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, a parking camera, and electronic stability control.
While Nissan Magnite which is Renault Kiger’s biggest competitor has received a 4-Star crash test rating by ASEAN NCAP. It comes with the Safety feature like dual front airbags, front seatbelt pre-tensioner, and load limiter, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors and front passenger seatbelt reminder as standard. Higher variants has ISOFIX child seat mounts, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, brake assist, 360-degree parking camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
