The Chinese carmaker Baojun has launched the RS-3 compact SUV in China.

MG is not pure British from the heart instead it lies in China in the name of “Baojun 530” which is an original MG hector.
The Indian MG Hector is a rebadge of Baojun 530 and now the Chinese company has introduced yet another gorgeous mid-sized SUV “Baojun RS 3” and it could find its place in India very soon.
The Chinese carmaker Baojun has launched the RS-3 compact SUV in China. The Baojun RS-3 inherits the company’s new young, intelligent, technological, and connected DNA. Baojun RS 3 equipped with advanced technologies that include in-vehicle voice command just like its sibling MG Hector.
It also comes loaded with Bosch’s advanced Level-2 ADAS driver assistance systems and also gets the adaptive cruise control system that can be activated at speeds of up to 130kmph.
Under the hood, you’ll find the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine which is can produce 105PS and 135Nm of torque mated to a CVT or a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is the same petrol unit that you’ll find on the Hector, so there is no compromise in the powertrain. – Car Accessories
Baojun RS 3 is mainly available in four variants and is priced between RMB 71,800 (INR 7.21 lakhs) and RMB 89,800 (INR 9 lakhs) mostly cheaper than the mid-sized SUV present in India. The RS-3 is positioned below the Baojun 530 (MG Hector) in China. If launched in India it can give run for the money to Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Vitara Brezza.
