The biggest day for Bikers has finally arrived, their dream of owning a BMW bike could now be real as BMW Motorrad has finally launched its first entry-level sports bike, the BMW G 310 R in the Indian market. The launch in India had been delayed but the bike is already on sale globally.
Well, Germans have officially launched the all-new G310 R Roadster as well as the G310 GS in India at an event. the BMW G 310 R will directly lock horn with the KTM 390, the BMW’s smallest is being made in India, it is made by an Indian firm.
The BMW G 310 R borrows its design language from the bigger roadsters in the BMW range like the S 1000 R. The BMW G 310 GS receives some changes. The suspension on the 310 GS offers increased travel, with both front and rear suspension offering 180 mm of travel.
The BMW G 310 R is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 34 HP at 9500 RPM and 28.4 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox while twin ABS comes as standard. All this power will propel the motorcycle which is 158.5 kg light.
While On the other hand, the BMW G 310 R comes with 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine comes in the same state of tune, churning out 34 BHP at 9500 RPM and 28.4 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission.
