Google is updating its Photos cloud storage service with a star-shaped and Heart shape button
Google rolling out a new feature to its Photos cloud storage service with a star-shaped button to mark selected pictures as your Favorites to find it easily anytime in one place.
According to the report, this feature was previously rolled out for the first time in Photos’ Android app back in August 2017, and that it’s taken the company nearly a year to bring it to life for some reason.

Well with this feature you will be able to favorite your photos to find your important belonging easily with one click – without any hassle of adding them to an album.
Google rolling out the Update Globally this week and you will be able to favorite your photo by tapping on the star button at the top right of the interface. All your Favorites will then show up in a separate collection that you can find listed under Albums. A Simple way to cherish your precious moments.
Additionally, Google is also working on Second Button – “Heart Button” coming next week. While the star saves pictures to your Favorites folder, the heart is basically a ‘like’ button for photos shared between you and your contacts. In addition to individual pictures, you can also like entire shared albums.
Well, this is a Smart way to organize your collection of pictures, and show off your best moments at one place to your besties.
