MIUI 8 all new Features & its Details here; Here’s the final list of Mi devices that can be updated to MIUI 8


Xiaomi have taken the wraps off of their first ever
‘phablet’ and that so big along with MIUI 8 for all Xiaomi devices with
Marshmallow update! That will take Mi users to new level as MIUI 8 is crafted
with perfectionist and made as per users taste.

Xiaomi claims there are over 200 million MIUI users

Previously MIUI has lost its charm after the MIUI v5 where
user were unable to spot the difference and changes made between the MIUI 6 and
7 as they looks both same. But this is not the case with MIUI 8. One of the
biggest changes in the new MIUI 8 OS is the visuals. The company has used rich
and young colors for the OS, which reportedly provides more information to the
user in a pleasant way.
The First change you’ll see in MIUI 8 the color changes as per
the month changes which will definitely swing your mood and also the colors
change as the weather changes as well, the color in the app can change
according to the background of Music. 
Xiaomi had introduced a wallpaper carousel with MIUI 7 and
with MIUI 8 it has increased the catalog of high-quality daily lock screens,
which now has 12 categories in total from more than 50 media partners.
The new MIUI 8 will have a revamped Gallery app. which now
allow users to add filters and crop the photo. The company has also included
stickers to add to the photo. The update also lets you doodle directly on the
photo. As for the video editing tool, MIUI 8 now allows to edit videos add
filters, crop and even add music to the video. MIUI 8 also makes it easy to
share photos with an upward swipe and select multiple photos at one go.

There’s a new feature as well which will keep the thumbnail
of the HD photo on your smartphone and the original one will be available on
the cloud. This reportedly saves up to 90% of gallery storage that’s makes your
phone storage Unlimited.
The calculator app in the MIUI 8 can now do more than just
number calculations. It can now get you live currency conversion for certain
currencies, Celcius to Fahrenheit degree conversion, and similar conversions.
The new OS comes with a better long screenshot feature which
makes it easier to take long screenshots. It also helps you to cut the portion
of the screenshot required without much hassle since you can get a preview of
the background image during the process.

The MIUI 8 notes app now helps you secure your notes with a
secure password or fingerprint. The new update also has different types of
templates for sharing the notes. MIUI 8 also makes it easier to navigate
between notes via a grid layout.

The MIUI 8 OS comes with a semi-transparent hovering options
circle which you can position it anywhere on the screen. You can set common
functions as well as applications in the menu and drag it anywhere. It will
help in one-handed operation of the device as well as to perform quick
MIUI 8 will also filter text messages and warn users in case
of suspicious fraud or phishing messages.
MIUI 8 will be available in an open beta that be released on
June 1 while the developer ROM will be released on June 17. As for the models

There is still confusion is going on whether the Redmi Note 3G
will get this update or not as Xiaomi discontinued in the middle due to Ericsson issue from its Redmi Device Range
way before and nothing has been said about and nor about Mi pad also and not it
